Finished up a long travel 650b this past week. This one will be picked up by the owner who’s flying over from England to visit family in NH of all places and then swing by the shop with riding duds to go for a shake down ride on my local trails here by the shop. We’ve been planning this from the very start, so it will be very nice to put a name to a face and take advantage of the occasion to share trails and good times. Just one of the many options I’m always open to if the client would like to pick up their bicycle. This one will sport a mix of components from Chris King, Industry 9, ENVE, Shimano XTR brakes, Sram XX1 Drivetrain among others as well as a stealth Rock Shox dropper post… A few details on the frame are of course 650b, dropper post routing, internal brake routing in the top tube, 12×142 Paragon Machine Works dropouts and post mount disk mount on the chainstay.
Here’s a few build shots to tide you over until the fork arrives from Fox :
Few shots of some Weld XXX :
And of course all finished up and ready for powder : I realized when as I was shooting these shots, I had not cut the tab out of the seat tube slot.. so that was done after I took these photos!
And one to show you the Sparkle Granny Smith powder… Enjoy!
