16″ of Love standard

Late this afternoon I decided to build up the new Kid Dangerous proto with a dedicated 1×9 setup. 11×32 in the rear, 32t up front, chain guidage provided by the e13 XCX seat tube mount (works like a charm). Got things dialed in, loaded up the car with the bike, my pup kaya and off we went to some local trails. Single track behind “Yankee Siege” in Greenfield, NH was the destination maintained by those crazy guys and gals of the Greenfield Trails Association some of which are part of the Hampshire 100. And now for something slightly more traditional… standard

I recently finished a Kid Dangerous 29er mountain bike. This ones more of a traditional diamond frame tuned for East Coast singletrack in the heart of New England. I’ve made a few updates on geometry, and how the bike was built. Some additional features are: :: Radius seat tube to achieve 16″ chain stay length. Yes – 16″ and it’s a 29er. :: Bottom bracket height is 12.25 to quicken steering. Rider center of gravity is just a tad bit more “in” the bike. :: Paragon Machine Works Post Mount Sliders – 16″-16.8″ of adjustability.
