Fat Bikes Rule and Blog Hackers Suck standard

Enjoyed a nice 2 hour ride today over there in Francestown,NH on sweet singletrack and ripping it up on white slippery snow. Kind of slushy conditions but it appears that we are in for some more powder Monday and Tuesday. This is good. Had a nice chat with Beezie post ride regarding her components for her 650b. Tubes are due here at 44HQ first thing Monday morning. Can’t wait to start mitering her tubes. Riding a bike, in the snow, IN the woods ON trails! Can anyone think of anything better to do in the winter? I can’t… Also mounted up a Surly Bud for front tire guidance duty. ...

New Year – New Bikes standard

Finished up Patrick’s fat bike just before the holidays. Spoke with the powder guys and the powder arrived this past week so I’ll be taking his frame over first thing Monday to get a “sparkle sky blue” powder coat. Here’s a few shots just as it was finished: And Patrick’s 29er arrived safe and sound which I like to hear. He went to work immediately putting things together. The bike turned out wonderfully. I couldn’t be happier with the result and from the sounds of it, so is Patrick. Really looking forward to his ride impressions and feedback. Always looking to refine the ride. Here’s some select shots that Patrick kindly granted me permission to share with you all: Can’t ...

One morning, when Gregor Samsa woke from troubled dreams, he found himself transformed in his bed into a horrible vermin. He lay on his armour-like back, and if he lifted his head a little he could see his brown belly, slightly domed and divided by arches into stiff sections.
